The Hateful Eight, Lincoln letter scene

What people say about this video:

RedCancer: Warren said at one point the letter disarms white people and builds their trust. I like how Chris crumples the letter up and throws it away, indicating he gained his trust and didn't need the letter to do that. My interpretation anyhow.?

Nycholas17: Great movie.... but this scene is the one that stays with me the most. Quite possibly the most touching scene in Tarantino's amazing work.?

Liza Kolganova: That was really touching and beautiful! Walton Goggins such an awesome actor. And, in my opinion, this is the best ending of all Tarantino`s films.?

BeggarsBelief: In the end, I suppose they realised that they were just two dying men..?

Chris Bano: I like how warren is lip synching to mannix reading the letter word for word, lol?

TheMovieDoctorful: I love the John Carpenter Thing parallels they went for with this ending; two former enemies now friends, slowly waiting for a cold, inevitable death to take them as they lie near each other in the dead of winter.?

Bryan Ford: Current events bought me here...all the fighting and polarization in America...made me think of this scene. It is beyond beautiful...you have two guys (not exactly model behavior gentleman) who fought on opposite sides of one of the most personal, and bloody conflicts in history. Two guys who would have no reason to get along or have much to do with each other end up joining forces against a common enemy. Watching them die together, and sharing a laugh at the ridiculousness of it all and reading that letter packed such an emotional punch. I don't know what it is...maybe it's the build up and all of the tension, but watching them die together at the end in this scene was the most beautiful death in film that I can think of.?
